New Delhi, February 7, 2008 (IANS). Anil Vij, Haryana Health Minister, stated that the state government is conducting a Measles Rubella catch-up campaign (MR) in Nuh and Palwal to stop measles transmission.
He stated that the campaign was launched by the Deputy Commissioners from both districts. Campaign is being monitored by state officers and partners like UNICEF and WHO to ensure 100 percent coverage.
Minister said that all departments, including Panchayati Raj, Education, Women and Child development, Education, IMA, and IAP, have been asked to cooperate in implementing the campaign and supporting the achievement of the goal of eliminating measles and rubella.
