Dazed Champions: Spring Issue: Fashion Photographers Rising
Paolo Roversi shot the magazine. It features 13 image-makers who have helped to define a shifting medium.

Paolo Roversi shot the cover story "Shooting Stars" in black and white. It was styled by Ib Kamara and features Rafael Pavarotti and Lea Colombo as well as Campbell Addy and Hugo Comte.
Kacion Mayers, Dazed's editorial director, stated that it is important to document the new school of cross-disciplinary photographers, who have created a shifting medium and are now being celebrated. "From Thibaut Grevet, which celebrates the power and scope the natural world, to Campbell Addy, who revolutionizes diversity in casting, and Rafael Pavarotti, who encourages mindfulness and connectivity on set, to Lea Colombo, who uses sculpture and installation alongside her photographic practice, photographers, for my part, feel more like journalists or writers than just image-makers. Mayers said that photographers use their own stories to tell fashion narratives that actually speak about the world and its future.
"Roversi is so full of energy and vigor that this story has such weight. Because of his lens, it was a moment in history and a time period. It's so definitive of an age. This will be something we can look back on with vivid memories. It is so important for everything that we do.
The issue also features Azealia Banks, an American singer; Ice Spice, a rapper; Clint, the founder of fashion label Corteiz, climate campaigners of Just Stop Oil, model Sophia Dawiye, and Zaya Wade (trans rights advocate), one of Dwyane Wade’s children.
