Birdman is Hip Hop's Best Chief Executive: 'Put Some Repek On My No'
Birdman has been crowned the greatest Hip Hop CEO ever. He also took aim at Billboard for failing to recognize the moguls behind an artist’s success.

Cash Money Records founder Birdman took to Instagram to criticize Billboard's inability to mention the Hip Hop CEOs that have contributed to the culture. Birdman posted a photo of the Billboard logo in his post and claimed that he is the best CEO Hip Hop had in its 50-year history.
Birdman wrote, "@billboard": "I see you'll do 10 best rappers which I well respeked but what tha CEO made it possible for these rappers be Supa stars?"So they kan super stars put some respek onto my name and quit playing with me I'm the best to ever do nothing but love for all #THEGOATMAKERs I doit do 4MSGLADYS #dontlie @cashmoneyofficial
VIBE and Billboard turned the tables on Hip Hop with their 50 Greatest Rappers List in celebration of Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary. The list was a tribute to Kanye West and Andre 3000, Ice Cube, Rakim and LL COOL J across its No.50 to No.
The final 10 spots were Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg. The list received polarizing reactions from fans as well as artists, with Ice Cube and Ja Rule giving their opinions.
Birdman took it a step further by criticizing Billboard for not mentioning CEOs who have made a difference in the culture. The 54-year-old Birdman doesn't get why the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Hip Hop are centered on the "legendary" artists who made the game possible.
Birdman wrote, "I am confused about 50 years of Hip Hop where they honor legendary artists which is well respected also I think CEOs who helped keep these artists alive and taught them how to keep Hip Hop alive should be honored in a major manner."
