Perkins, who has appeared on screen and stage as well as in many British TV shows, including the popular "EastEnders," encouraged women bring their husbands. She laughed and said, "You'll be glad you did." Perkins, who lives in Lewisham (London) and has three children and three grandchildren as well as three cats, was on hand to chat about all things travel.
It was for work, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. I was there for a week and was able spend time in Brussels. I also managed to take a day trip to Ghent (in the Flemish Region of Belgium), which is a medieval city. It is located on a river, and it is beautiful and old. Belgium is also known for its great shopping.
