Russia's Wagner Group purchased ads on Pornhub to encourage young men to join the "coolest privately-army in the world".

Russia's Wagner Group purchased an advertisement on Pornhub urging users to join the "coolest private armies in the world". The military company is currently fighting to seize a crucial Donbass city.

The ad was spotted by Russian Telegram users earlier in the week. It shows a woman licking a lollipops, suggesting that Wagner is available. It was apparently only visible to Russian users who accessed the site.

"We are the f**king most cool private army in the entire world. We are looking for fighters from all parts of Russia. Do not w***k off, go work for PMC Wagner," the Russian language ad states before a number appears on screen.

"...advertising PMC Wagner on porn sites was a very smart idea of our marketers," he stated, as cited by his media service."I completely agree with them. This advertisement says: "Go to fight in Wagner PMC, stop j**king away."

Wagner has announced the creation of 42 new outreach centres across Russia in addition to the ad campaign it ran on the largest porn site in the world.

Wagner played a key role in Russia's ongoing military operations in Ukraine. He is currently fighting for the capture of Artyomovsk (also called Bakhmut in Ukraine) within the Donbass region.

According to reports, the city is heavily surrounded by regular Russian forces and Wagner troops, Vladimir Zelensky, Ukrainian President, pledged to strengthen it. He warned that Artyomovsk could fall under Russian total control and leave an "open road” to other parts of the region held by Kiev.
